Manchester Met Conference and Events Celebrate Highest Possible Rating with Meetings Industry Association.

Last month the Conference Office were delighted to learn that they had retained their Gold rating with the industry’s leading trade association, MIA.

AIM Gold accreditation is the MIA’s highest accolade and achievement of this level sends a positive signal to potential clients that superior service levels have been achieved.

The assessor, Suzanne commented that ‘The facilities, procedures and ethos of the meetings and events provision have continued to evolve and offer a high standard of facilities for all users. Manchester Metropolitan University should also be very proud of their cumulative work within the wider community, their sustainable commitments across all their activities and their continuous drive to deliver high quality events to their clients’.

The assessment, which was a full day on site and over seventy criteria, provides customers with an assurance that they can expect an exceptional standard of customer service whilst also adhering to all current health and safety and other pertinent legislation.

There are also several local government and industry venue finders who only work with gold accredited venues, so this achievement is another vital way of the team securing quality conferences and events enquiries in the future.

To celebrate this, we are offering a ‘one stop’ Day Delegate Rate to all new conference enquiries booked in to our venues during April 2023. This means that all additional seminar space is included in the DDR so delegates and organisers can experience as much of our Gold standard space as they need!
