Manchester Metropolitan University Welcome Back the Alternative Futures and Popular Protest Conference

Conference and Events at Manchester Metropolitan University are delighted to welcome back the Alternative Futures and Protest conference in March.

The Alternative Future and Popular Protest conference has been running successfully since 1995 and has gone from strength to strength. The aim of the conference is to explore the dynamics of popular movements, along with the ideas that animate their activities, supporters, and which contribute to shaping their fate.

Dr Michael Tyldesley, Senior Lecturer in Politics and Public Service, was delighted with the service offered by the Conference and Events team in 2017, commenting: “We had a very smooth operation this year, meaning we could focus on the business of the conference.” He also thought the lunchtime hot fork buffet was excellent with great service.

Taking place from 26 to 28 March in Geoffrey Manton, the three-day conference is set to attract delegates from a wide range of countries as well as in the UK. The Conference and Events team look forward to welcoming delegates to the university.
