Manchester Met Conference and Events Venues – Good to Go!
We are pleased to tell you that Manchester Met Conference and Events have been awarded the Good to Go industry standard mark for their venues.
This means we’re following government and industry COVID-19 guidelines in all our conference facilities.
‘Good to Go’ has been created by VisitEngland in partnership with the national tourist organisations of Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales to provide confidence to our visitors as we begin to run conferences and events again at the University.
All of our conference venues have been thoroughly risk assessed and processes put in place to maintain cleanliness and social distancing. These include:
- Applying social distancing measures in our venues, including one way systems and clear signage to help you move around buildings
- Organising our lecture theatres, seminar rooms and networking spaces to enable social distancing
- Adding social distancing markers and protective screens in cafes, receptions and other public areas
- Installing hand sanitisers in the receptions of all our conference and event locations
- Introducing more frequent cleaning rotas and deep cleaning measures to all our high traffic areas such as networking and catering areas
- Increased cleaning of all frequent touch points such as door handles and stair rails
We are also asking all clients to wear a facemask when on campus, and to ensure you arrange your visit with us beforehand.
