Manchester Metropolitan University to host International AV VR Conference 2017

Manchester Metropolitan University is proud to host the 3rd International Augmented and Virtual Reality Conference.

The conference is organised by the Creative Augmented Virtual Realities Hub, based at Manchester Met, which investigates new and innovative ways to implement augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) in the tourism industry.

This year’s conference will focus on exploring cutting edge augmented and virtual reality concepts, applications and business models, which shape our everyday life, place and businesses. The speaker line-up includes academics from the University of Surrey, the University of Liverpool, the University of Birmingham, as well as industry experts from BBC, BT and Brandwidth.

The event will take place on Thursday, 23 February 2017 at the Business School. Situated at the heart of the Manchester campus, the venue is easily accessible via all major public transport routes and is a short walk from Oxford road train station.
